Hello 
Well today we had our appointment at Fertility Associates and got to meet our Doctor, Dr Andrew Murray. what a lovely guy! Looks like we are going to get things started in 3 weeks! the countdown is on! It looks like it will be around 8 weeks treatment..so its only going to be a few months and we might (fingers, toes, EVERYTHING crossed!!) have a little one on the way!
Bring on the injections, bad moods, all the bad stuff! Im ready to get things rolling….
I’ve found a few forums that I think I’m going to join too, will let you know how it all goes.

Hi Paula,
I was googling IVF (which seems to be the way, when you find out you have to go through it) and came across your blog. We seem to have a few things in common… had been trying for a year and found out last Sept that we would need IVF…start injections v. soon (3rd Feb) and we are also doing ICSI…pretty daunting and I find that all my friends are either getting pregnant or already have babies…
Finding it hard to find people who understand…
Anywho, just wanted to wish you luck and drop me a line if you ever want to bleat!

Wow it was such a nice suprise to see you kind message. I’ll be starting my injections in about a month, really looking foward to getting things started!
I know what you mean about there being babies everwhere, I was at the shop the other day and seemed to be surrounded by pregnant woman, I have 6 people (friends and family) that are pregnant and my sister is due this weekend. While I’m really happy for everyone it does tend to sting a little.
